Backloggd – Letterboxd for games!

If you’re a video game nerd (like me), and have ever had the urge to catalogue your collection, or diarise what you play, then you’re in luck!

Being a bit of a nerd, I’ve been logging the films I’ve watched on Letterboxd.com for the last few years, which I’ve found scratches what little organisational itches I have when it comes to film watching etc.

But ever since I started my film-watching diary, I’ve always wished I could have something similar but for the video games I play.

I haven’t been able to find a suitable option for this, until a friend of mine on Bluesky asked if anyone else was on the Backloggd platform.

Being the nosey pillock I am, I checked it out, and holy shit… it’s exactly what I’d asked for in a “letterboxd-for-games” website. Of course, I immediately set up a profile.

The site allows you to log when you’ve played a game, if it’s to completion, or if you’ve abandoned it (Overwatch… I’m looking at you for my abandoned list), and you can give it a star rating, add reviews or create custom game lists and more.

It really is the closest thing I’ve seen to a Letterboxd for games, and I’m so happy I’ve stumbled across it today!

If you’d like to check it out, and maybe add me as a friend over there, you can view my profile by clicking here.
